Bearings for steering head

For leaf spring Chiefs we can offer taper roller bearings with adjusting nut, the cup being available in different diameters for worn out seats from Ø54,03 - 55mm precision ground on demand.

Left new, right original - same dimensions. Lower taper roller bearing also available (serial Timken).

Girder fork Chiefs 1946-48: Do not use serial taper roller bearings as height difference adds up so much the adjusting nut won't fit anymore.

Upper cone nut Scout #20B263

There is not enough space to use taper roller bearings in upper seat on Scouts. We can offer these hardened cone nuts. For lower steering head bearings on early Scouts, we can make a modification of a serial taper roller bearing to fit into the frame
